Case for Beagle Bone Green
Step 1: Remove the Masking
All of the acrylic components have a brown paper mask layer on them in order to protect the surface during transport and production. This layer should be removed for proper assembly of the case.
Using your fingernail or other similar tool to start peeling the masking from a corner.
Remove the masking from both sides.
Step 2: Insert Buttons in Top
The button pieces have arrows which should be pointing towards the top of the case. You will want to ensure that the buttons are placed so that the board can be laid upside down on top of this piece.
Step 3: Attach the Delrin Mounting Clips
Take the two clips and clip them onto the PCB at the mounting holes as shown in the picture.
Step 4: Place the Beagle Bone Green on the Top Panel
Place the Beagle Bone Green upside down on the top panel, ensuring that the buttons on the board are in line with the button pieces on the case.
Step 5: Place the Bottom Panel on the Beagle Bone Green
Step 6: Attach the Front and Back Panels
Step 7: Attach the Side Panels
Clip on the first side panel. The side panels are keyed to match the top panel, so each side panel has a specific orientation. Pay attention to the orientation when attempting to connect the side panels.
Clip on the second side panel. This one may take some extra pressure to snap into place. To make it easier, you can use a small screwdriver or similar tool to push the delrin clips down.
