Overview
Transmit
The following is the standard format for the Cartridge Name Command
Send: 04 18 00 00 00
Receive
The first byte is the number of bytes that will follow. Remember these values are in hex so 26 actually specifies 38 bytes are waiting to be received.
Recv: 26 00 01 00 21 43 72 69 63 75 74 28 52 29 20 43 68 72 69 73 74 6D 61 73 20 43 61 72 64 73 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 21
The second and third byte create a single value that represents the cartridge version in this case it is 1.0. The cartridge name is in [[1]] format and starts with byte 5 which is an exclamation point. Once again these values are in Hexidecimal so be careful looking them up. The above characters translate as follows:
| 21 | 43 | 72 | 69 | 63 | 75 | 74 | 28 | 52 | 29 | 20 | 43 | 68 | 72 | 69 | 73 | 74 | 6D | 61 | 73 | 20 | 43 | 61 | 72 | 64 | 73 |
| ! | C | r | i | c | u | t | ( | R | ) | C | h | r | i | s | t | m | a | s | C | a | r | d | s |
Then there are then several null values, and the last character is another '!' exclamation point.
